My name is Jeanne Stewart and I live with my family in Upstate New York.  I began my journey in ceramics several years ago at my local community art center.  After just a few classes, I was “hooked” and have found my passion.  I now have my own small batch ceramics studio where I create both unique and conventional forms of handmade, functional pottery with “one of a kind” glaze finishes.  If you would like to purchase my pottery, please contact me for availability and shipping costs.

Payment accepted via Paypal or Venmo prior to shipment.

I hope you enjoy my work and welcome to  Jeanne Stewart Pottery/JNS Pottery.

Pottery Care Recommendations:

Your pottery has been created using clays and glazes that were specifically designed for food vessels. They are

oven and dishwasher safe. Ceramics conduct heat, handle carefully when removing from oven or microwave.

Avoid using coarse scrubbing pads.

As with all ceramics, avoid thermal shock. Do not place pottery under broiler, over direct flame or on the

stove top.  Bring chilled pottery to room temperature before placing in oven.  Avoid preheating oven when possible.  Avoid placing a hot dish on a cold surface or directly into refrigerator. Never place empty pottery in a

microwave.

My pottery is meant to be used and loved everyday.  But treat it with loving care, pottery is breakable and should be protected from obvious shocks.  Enjoy!
